Question of the Day #197
Two-Headed Blog was extremely saddened by the news of Michael Jackson’s untimely death. It’s as if a little piece of our childhood died yesterday.
What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?

This may be the most difficult question I have ever had to answer, but if I HAD to choose only one, it would have to be…
Beat It.

You know what? I’ve always had a really soft spot for “Ben.” Old, old school.

Martin Bashir has actually come out and stated (of MJ) that “He was never convicted of any crime” and “I never saw any wrongdoing myself.” The implication is… Martin Bashir doesn’t personally believe that MJ molested any children: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/MichaelJackson/story?id=7933530&page=1
I actually find that pretty compelling myself, considering how much one-on-one time Bashir spent with Jackson while making that documentary a few years back. Jackson basically ripped Bashir a new one after that documentary came out, so if Bashir says that he is not convinced that MJ molested any kids (“did anything criminal”), then I kind of take his word for it a little bit.
But yes, I completely agree that sleeping in a bed with kids is weird, creepy, and entirely inappropriate… but was it criminal? MJ was an extremely disturbed guy… but whether he actually crossed the line and actually touched or molested any children is a different story.

I’m not really sure of my favorite.
But I was spinning some tracks this evening, and when “P.Y.T.” came on, the hair on the back of my neck stood up.
More than that I cannot ask from a record.
